aerobics classes. Currently, she is completing her
Comprehensive Classical Pilates Training through Power

Daniella has been involved in the healing arts and
alternative medicine since 1997. She received her
formal yoga teacher training at the Mount Madonna
Center in the Traditional 8 Limbs Ashtanga style
yoga as taught by Baba Hari Dass. Daniella
incorporates various schools of asana into her
instruction style drawing upon her experience with
Bikram, Vinyasa (flow), Anusara and Iyengar styles.
Her intuitive linking of postures, emphasis on
proper alignment and the breath along with her
encouragement inspires students into a moving
meditation. Daniella's deep connection to Spirit,
poetry writing and chanting add a special addition
to each class, creating a style in and of itself.

physical exercise and to heal her knees from years of
marathon running.
Through the physical asana practice, Shelley's love of
yoga grew quickly as
she experienced its holistic healing affect on her body,
mind, and soul.

RENEE MONROE-SATTERFIELD |
|
Email:
rs@reformationstudio.com
In 2000, I opened ReFormation Studio in order to fulfill
the need of having a Pilates, Gyrotonic & Yoga studio in
the South Bay. I have taken the time to research the
products and instructors that are focused on these
exercise modalities. I want to give other people the
opportunity to add strength, flexibility and relaxation
into their daily schedules in order to combat the daily
stresses of the Silicon Valley lifestyle. My personal
background includes weight management, seven years of
running and four years of weight training. Over the
last 20 years I've learned to sculpt
my body through cardio and strength training. After
years of pounding on my joints (running, aerobics,
weights, etc.), I started to recognize that to build the
long, lean, healthy body that I wanted, I needed to go a
step further and add strength and flexibility training.
I wanted a meditative space where I could learn and
offer the same to people in my community. That's how
Reformation came to be. Renee is a certified instructor
of Pilates, Gyrotonic®, Gyrokinesis, Gyrotonic
Specialized Equipment and a authorized Gyrotonic
pre-trainer.

BOB RICCOMINI |
|
Bob teaches a playful yet vigorous
vinyasa flow based class accompanied by contemporary hip
music. Bob completed his teacher training at the Bhakti
Urban Flow Teacher Training Center in San Francisco with
Rusty Wells. Other influential teachers include Dharma
Mittra, David Swenson, Desiree Rumbaugh, Ana Forrest,
Shiva Rea, Eric Shiffmann, and Jennifer Prugh. Bob’s
driving force in teaching yoga is his desire to give
back to the local community
where
he has been so
fortunate to live
and work for many
years. All proceeds Bob receives for teaching are
donated to “Art of Yoga,” a non-profit organization
whose mission is to lead teen girls in the California
juvenile justice system toward accountability by
providing practical tools to effect behavior change.

SUSANNAH SHAMOS |
|
Susannah first
discovered yoga in 1993 at Yoga College of India (Bikram)
in San Francisco during her first year of law school.
Since 1998, however, her practice has mainly been
Vinyasa yoga, but with an Iyengar-based focus on
alignment and safety, primarily as a result of study
with Kent Bond, both privately and as a student in his
classes. She also studied Ashtanga and "Power" yoga
before realizing that often strength, as well as peace,
can come from slowing down and moving more deeply into
one's practice. After an 8 year career as a trial
attorney, Susannah changed paths in 2005 and became a
Yoga Alliance certified yoga instructor through Avalon
in Palo Alto. While her classes tend to be strong and
challenging, she wants each student to find the
tremendous sense of joy and peace that yoga has brought
to her, and strives to do this with her own blend of
knowledge, compassion, music and, always, humor. |
|
MARK TANAKA |
|

TANAKA has been studying the yogic art forms for the
past 9 years, exploring an array of disciplines in the

of yoga. His hatha yoga studies have been in many
styles. Mark is well known
for his unique teaching style that
reflects his broad scope of study. His hatha yoga
vinyasa classes
blend the principles of the healing arts, and he
attempts to
transmit the essence of these art forms to individuals
so they can
discover their inherent wholeness that exists in mind,
body and
spirit. Mark currently teaches at numerous gyms and yoga
studios
in Santa Cruz and San Jose, California. |

pain due to an auto accident and was able to relieve all
of her pain and once again become strong and fit. She is
passionate about Pilates which shows in her teaching.
Lori works with a variety of clients, including pre/post
natal and rehab. Her teaching style covers the spectrum

|
DIVYA ZUCCARO
|
|
Divya truly enjoys sharing the peaceful energy of yoga
and earned certification in 1997 to instruct 'Relax With
Yoga' in the Integral Yoga tradition. This is the same
method used in Dr. Dean Ornish's successful stress
management program for reversal of heart disease.
Throughout her pregnancy and delivery, Divya continued
yogic practices and teachings. As a mother of a
toddler, and with experience in physical therapy, Divya
