| Gyrotonic® Pre-Training Guidelines |
| The purpose of the Pre-Training Course is to teach students in their own
bodies the exercises presented in the Foundation Teacher Training Course.
Students must complete a minimum of twenty 20 to 40 hours in a
Pre-training course in the Gyrotonic® methodology. The amount of hours for
the course will vary according to the number of students rotating on each
Pulley Tower. If there is one student on a Pulley Tower during Pre-training,
than the requirement is a minimum of 20 hours. If there are 2 students
rotating on 1 Pulley Tower during the Pre-training course, the minimum
requirement is 24 hours. If there are 3 people rotating, which is the
maximum allowed rotating per Pulley Tower, the minimum is 28 hours. The
Pre-Training course must also include a minimum of (2) 90 minute classes in
Gyrokinesis methodology. Each student must have first-hand physical
knowledge of all the exercises in the Pre-training Exercise List in order to
be eligible to take the Foundation Teacher Training Course. Pre-training hours
are to be accomplished with a Master Trainer or a qualified and authorized
Pre-trainer according to the official Pre-trainer list. OR: If the candidate has been a client of a Master Trainer or a qualified Certified Trainer and has learned most of the exercises taught in the Pre-training Exercise List, this may be considered to fulfill part of the Pre-training. However, they must schedule extra appointments with a qualified or authorized Pre-trainer in order to confirm that the student is physically capable of executing the required exercises and/or to learn of all the exercises the the student did not learn yet. The precise amount of additional sessions that will needed will vary from person to person. Students will also need to complete a minimum of two (2) 90 minunte classes in GyrokinesisTM methodology conducted by a certified Level 1 GyrokinesisTM Trainer. Students are required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement prior to
beginning the Pre-Training Course and a Pre-Training Qualification Agreement
upon successful completion of the course. |
