Heidi
Norris
has been practicing yoga since 1991 in the
Hatha traditions of Bikram, Power Yoga,
Vinyasa Flow, and Yin. A serious injury lead
Heidi to the desire of sharing the many
facets of a yoga practice through teaching.
Heidi recently has completed a Vinyasa Flow
Yoga Teacher Training with Mark Stephens (RYS)
and also is certified in Power Vinyasa Yoga
with Yoga Alliance. She has studied with
Shiva Rea, Rodney Yee, Baron Baptiste, Sarah
Power, Jill Miller, Beth Shaw, Samantha
Mathews, Anna Forrest, and Judith Hanson
Lasater. Her emphasis is to connect breath
with movement in a progression of
intelligent, graceful, and playful sequences
leading to a full expression then gradually
relaxing into stillness, release, and
mindfulness. Practitioners are lead through
verbal cues and hands on adjustments into
safe alignment allowing one to consciously
experience energy moving through the body.
